Frequently asked questions
What vaccinations are required for my pet’s appointment?
For the safety of all our furry guests, we require proof of current Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (for dogs), and FVRCP (for cats). Additional vaccines may be recommended depending on the service and your pet’s needs. Please bring your pet’s vaccination records to your appointment or have your veterinarian email them to us in advance.
How far in advance should I book my pet’s grooming appointment?
We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like holidays and summer. Regular clients often pre-book their next session before leaving to ensure their preferred date and groomer.
What should I do before bringing my pet to the salon?
Please make sure your pet has had a chance to go potty before their appointment and is brushed out (if possible) to help us give them the best grooming experience. We also encourage you to share any special requests or concerns with our staff when you arrive.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We kindly ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Missed or late cancellations may be subject to a fee. This helps us keep our schedule running smoothly and offer appointments to other clients on our waitlist.
can you help with vaccines?
We’re able to provide all necessary vaccinations except for the Rabies vaccine, which must be administered by your personal veterinarian.

Furry Haven is such a nice, Beautiful place for my pup! They had so much to do for my little rascal. He didn't want to leave after a few days of being there. They are so thoughtful and caring for all the dogs that came in at the same time. I will definitely be using them again for their other services.

I tried out Furry Haven for the dog grooming (and yes, they even groom cats). They were so great to work with; kind, patient, asked questions about my dogs and clarified grooming needs. I really loved the staff and would give them 10 stars if I could. The best part is that the grooming was done early and they let the pups play in the daycare section until I could pick them up. They were so happy! They looked and smelled great, enjoyed stretching their legs and had pleasant staff! Definitely recommend them!

Furry Haven took great care of our two labs. You can tell the staff really loves what they do — our dogs came home happy, healthy, and totally worn out (in the best way). The place is super clean, well-organized, and has plenty of space and activities for the dogs. We felt totally at ease leaving them there and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!
